Maison Manguin - Distillerie Artisanale

On Barthelasse Island, there is an artisanal distillery which makes a wide range of products, including aperitif wines, liqueurs, creams, pastis, and its famous specialty - Pear spirits where the pear is trapped in the bottle. Guided visits by appointment with tasting.
During the guided tour at the Manguin distillery, you will discover a savoir-faire and an ancient, artisanal distillation technique known as the "double-passe".

The distillery proposes an entire range of outstanding products such as apéritifs (melon, peach...), spirits and brandies (pear Williams, cherry, plum, mirabelle...), liqueurs (thyme, lavender...), creams (blackberry, raspberry...), pastis and the pear specialty in carafes or magnums.

Guided tours by appointment, with tastings of 4 products of your choosing.

July to late January: distillation period.
Springtime to July: carafes and magnums are placed by hand in the pear trees to hold the famous "trapped pear".

Monday to Friday: 10am-12pm / 2-5pm
Saturday: 10am-12pm / 3-7pm
