The Pré d'Islan is a historical monument and one of the loveliest country homes in Avignon. In 1776, Joseph-François Agricole Islan, Canon at Montfavet, built the home and its many outbuildings. Our ancestor, Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, Mayor of Avignon, purchased the estate from his cousins in 1836. The Avignon countryside exemplifies the boom times that Avignon experienced in the 18th and 19th centuries. Today, the Pré d'Islan can host your events of all kinds - family receptions, cultural events, professional events. The Pré d'Islan continues to symbolise the economic and cultural history of Avignon. It can be the lovely setting for wedding receptions and countless other events. The Pré d'Islan hosts you in the honor courtyard, the terracs, the groves, the living rooms and elsewhere, for christenings, weddings, birthdays and stays.
