    At the heart of Provence, the only Lavender Museum entirely dedicated to true lavender, symbolic flower renowned internationally for its purity and its benefits.
    In a beautiful stone building surrounded by lavandine and olive trees, the Lavender Museum brings together the greatest red copper stills collection and traditional objects to present the history, the botanic, the distillation and the uses of true lavender from Provence. The visit led by expert guides, allows to discover the art of distillation, the different types of lavender, the great significance of terroirs and many other secrets on this emblematic flower. In this beautiful building, the historical boutique of the brand Le Château du Bois® showcases PDO fine lavender essential oil of premium quality and high-end organic cosmetics between care treatment, wellness and delight.

    The visit is built around a rich collection of stills lavender sixteenth century onwards, the course and the audio guides (English, French, German, Italian, Chinese) allow visitors the freedom to move around the room collection and monitoring in theaters documentary filmed at the Château du Bois at the foot of Mont Ventoux on the work of planting, harvesting and distillation of lavender in Haute Provence.
